Ins&Outs celebrates the the launch of its 12th issue, around town now!
The cover of this issue features a striking oil painting by GEMA depicting an Amazonian teen looking towards civilization. She oversees the new changes, new routes, and new great cities with tall towers and condominiums, noisy streets and perhaps a subway, electricity, and... No more rivers where you can drink fresh rainwater, or birds or insects, or medicinal plants. No more monkeys or frogs or snakes or tigers or piranhas or manatees. No more silent nights with the roar of the jungle.. No more of this fantastic life for this little girl in the Amazon jungle. Is that a good thing?
Issue 12 features I&O's launch into Broadway with backstage coverage of Xanadu, LIC resident Kenny Greenberg's neon art, Carissa Carman's vegetable oil taxi, Rhoda Sherbell's sculptures, a look into ways to stay active and healthy, and much more. Also, enjoy I&O's twelve page fashion spread shot in Tobago, and the eight full-page photos of "Falling In Love in Paris." Get involved with Ins&Outs' next issue, which will contain a photojournalism sequel to "Falling In Love In Paris," and be featured in "Falling In Love In LIC." More details in this issue!
